October 2008
From the BeeKeeper:
Welcome to the October edition of the Beeline Newsletter.
I am issuing a "Challenge to the Hive"!
Would you spend an extra 20 minutes this week to put the Law of Reciprocity to the test?
For most of the Beehivers here, I am certain the answer will be yes to this question.
Here are the basic facts...There are approximately 200 people playing in the Beehive Game Online right now.
If everyone poses a question, and then subsequently takes the time (say 6 seconds/question) to answer '"yes, no or maybe" to all of the other questions...we will have a true test of the Law of Reciprocity.
I have noticed that many of you have a page full of questions to "give" your answers to. The questions will remain active for 30 days after they are posed. I will be changing that shortly to 15days.
I understand that 20minutes/week can be precious time to everyone, but we must remember to give in order to receive.
Wouldn't you want someone spending 6 seconds on your question?

Success in the Hive:
A very big "Thank You" and 5 Honey Pot Points goes to Patricia Freeman from The Brantwood Foundation for sending in this Success Story...
"Through the Beehive Game Online, I have made a wonderful connection! I work for a non-profit agency where time and money are short and wish lists are long. Through the Beehive, I sent out a small request and got a large return.
Lorraine Gambacourt, Xocai Healthy Chocolate Distributor, answered my call. I don't remember the initial request but she turned it into a large fund raising event where she promoted Heathy Chocolate, raised $1402.00 for my agency and we were both able to make valuable contacts for the future.
Thank you for the availability of this networking system, and thank you to those who reply...some small request might just grow into something bigger than you thought!"
